Dog Handler

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Constable Dog Handler to join our Force Dog Section, based in North Devon.

To be eligible to apply you must currently be a licenced & operational General Purpose Police Dog Handler and commit to residing within a 30-mile radius of South Molton. Consideration will be given to being able to purchase your operational GP dog from your current force.

ARV Constable

As one of the first on the scene at firearms incidents across the force area, you’ll play a vital role in keeping members of the public safe and secure. You will be the primary response to firearms incidents across the county and will also provide visible, proactive policing support for front line policing colleagues.

SWROCU – South West Regional Organised Crime Unit

At SWROCU, we work with local forces and national partners to target and disrupt the criminals posing the greatest risk to residents and businesses in our region. This includes offenders involved in cybercrime, economic crime, drug conspiracies, modern slavery and human trafficking, organised immigration crime, and child sexual abuse and exploitation.
