In October we are taking part in Black History Month, to show our commitment and to recognise inspiring individuals who played a key role in shaping history, influencing change and building communities.
Black History Month has long served as an opportunity to appreciate and celebrate the invaluable contributions of black people to British society, whilst inspiring future generations. This year, Black History Month is dedicated to honouring the achievements of black women.
Accordingly, the theme for 2023 is
‘Saluting Our Sisters.’
