With over 230 roles,
there is something for everyone
In our force we have over 230 different roles that are carried out on a daily basis by our family of staff. There are many roles that do not require you to have "warranted powers" like Police Officers have, but our forces would not be able to function or keep people safe without the support of police staff.
Police staff work from police stations throughout both force areas including our headquarters based in Winfrith.
Police staff carry out a variety of roles such as Call Handlers, Personal Safety Trainers, Crime Analysts, Police Enquiry Officer, IT Consultants, Project Managers, Administrations Staff, Mechanics, Accountants, Lawyers to name a few.
